- we started our winter garden to have it ready for the group arrival before Christmas but on the 6th of January 2017..look..everything died ..under the snow...

Making myrtle liqueur, aromatic oil (rosemary), bunches of dried lavender, sage, oregano, mint, calamint. The aim of these activities is to give hospitality to foreign students involved in exchange programmes and self-financing.Discovering tastes, smells and colours.

Collaboration with the pupils’ parental association “Liceando”
The students at Majorana-Laterza asked the City Council for special compost containers.
We received them and started to learn how to make a good compost from organic waste.
One of our science teachers who is an agronomist taught the students about the right way to produce compost.
We are deliver organic waste in the composter.
We asked the State forestal authority for some plants which are common in aur Mediterranean area
We were given 100 different plants among which mirtle,broom,holly.
All the removed grass and parts of the new branches went into the composter.
