Ms. Maria Gabriella Troilo has conducted a workshop for the production of costume jewellery and accessories from discarded plastic bottles with class 1^C of liceo scientifico Benedetti (Venezia).

The aims of the activity were:

- to upcycle used plastic bottles that in Italy can't yet be given back with a refund;

- to develop the ability to imagine how to use materials in an unconventional way;

- to increase fine manual skills.

Worksteps:

- students bring discarded plastic bottles from home;

- students are guided to select the models that can be realized depending on the limited means available (staplers, glue gun, scissors etc.)

- practical realization.
