Gymnasium Altona is now separating waste in its classrooms and staffrooms. We agreed on using yellow bins for recyclable material, blue ones for paper and cardboard and grey for general rubbish. In every room there are posters that explain where to put the different types of rubbish. The students empty the yellow and blue bins themselves into big containers that are placed in the schoolyard. However, not everybody cares about separating waste at school.
