Upcycling – design objects made of European plastic bags
Students from Altona / Hamburg, 11th grade, designed objects which should be made of collected plastic bags from the partner countries of the Erasmus project. They were free to decide whether to build a model or create a functional object in natural/real size.
As preparation, they did research on Bauhaus- and Memphis Design, tried out different techniques to give stability to soft material, drew different ideas and made a project plan.
