As the coordinator of the proyect The Art of Recycling and Reuse, I personally attended  Huelva Town Planning Councellor's office to pose a question on handling the yellow bin (plastic waste).

In order to be able to educate on recycling issues, we need to manage waste at school. We already have a big blue waste bin for paper, a green one for glass, organic bins; we have even bought small blue and yellow bins for every classroom. The problem is that huge amounts of plastic easte are collected everyday at our highschool, the yellow bin outside school has been moved to the next block of flats (it used to be opposite the main entrance).I have  even taken steps at the Town Hall to have a big yellow bin and someone to take waste away when necessary because it is quiite a burden for maintenance people. We generate huge yellow bags and there is no space in these bins outside.

This issue is still a pending task, if we don't get the appropiate help from authorities it will be difficult to handle plaste waste in our center.
