A5 Creative Riddles: eco-city

  •  Some 2 ESO students creations on what an eco-city is not:

    Original Riddle:

I have streets but no pavement,
I have cities but no buildings,
I have forests but no trees,
I have rivers yet no water.

    What am I?

    Rewritten Riddle:

I have streets with no trees

I have cities but dirty buildings

I had forests but they burned

I had rivers with they were polluted

    What am I?

By a 1 Bachillerato group (thinking in Huelva):

    Original Riddle:

In marble walls as white as milk,
Lined with skin as soft as silk,
    In a fountain crystal clear,
    A golden treasure does appear.
There are no doors to this stronghold,
Yet thieves break in and steal the gold.

    What is it?

    Rewritten version:

In cardboard walls as  soft as  velvet

Lined with paint as ecological as Everest

By a river as clear as a day

    a golden city does appear

    There is no pollution

Yet arsonists came in and blackened our evolution

                                                                                               Which city is it?
