In October and November students took part in TASK 1 - MATHS AROUND US. The looked for Mathematics in their neighbourhood, at school and at home. They identified geometric shapes, solids, numbers and other mathematical aspects and photographed them. When they finished their research, they made presentations showing the results of their work. They worked individually, in pairs or in groups. Each presentation contains a series of slides with photos and descriptions of mathematical aspects found by the students.

Our students worked hard to find as many representations of Maths as possible and then make interesting POWERPOINT presentations to show the results of their work. Most of their research was done on their way home, in their homes and around their neighbourhood. The most popular objects with mathematical elements such as shapes, solids and numbers included road signs, buildings and their parts, various knick knacks from their homes and other objects used every day.
