NOVEMBER 2015: TASK 9 - MATHS & HEALTH

  • In the ninth task students focused on their eating habits - their activities included making notes about what they eat and counting the calories of their meals. Also, they were encouraged to pay attention to eating healthy food and therefore the partner schools organised activities to promote a healthy lifestyle.

    TASK 9 IN POLAND:

In November we completed another task - "Maths & Health". This time we focused on our daily diet - we counted calories of typical daily meals. To complete this task our students had to make notes about their meals and count calories involved:

Also, we asked younger pupils from the Primary school to join in and think about their diet. They prepared posters presenting healthy and unhealthy food and talked to their parents about it all. Then, we organised an exhibition to display their works.

All these activities were organised within our SCHOOL HEALTHY WEEK and their aim was to promote healthy lifestyle and make our students aware of what they eat. To find out more, watch our pesentation.
