DECEMBER 2014: TASK 2 - MATHS AROUND US

  • In December students participated in TASK 2 - MATHS AROUND US and focused on solids. They had to create a paper project of a building - it could be a famous building from their country, region, town or village. They could invent a building of their own. They cooperated in pairs or groups.

    Examples of the Polish paper models:

    This task turned out to be a lot of fun for our students. Some recreated famous buildings from Poland or otther countries such as the the Palace of Culture from Warsaw or the Tower Bridge from London. SOme recreated our local churches, our school building or their own homes. And some students used their imagination and created their own buildings.
