DECEMBER 2015: TASK 10 - MATHS & FUNDRAISING

  • Maths and Fundraising - in this task students helped organise or support a charity event in their schools and neighbourhood. Some partner schools prepared items to be sold like Christimas decorations or cardboard boxes for pets depending on the choice of the students or organised sponsored actions. Then, the participants had to count how much money they had raised and transefer it to charity organisations.

Here are presentations summarising the task activities:

    TASK 10 in Poland:

First our students prepared Christmas cards and decorations to be sold, then organised a special fundraising corner and announced the campaign on the school website. Also, they decided to donate the collected money to the famous Polish charity action called "Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej Pomocy" (organised at the beginning of January every year).

Here are some photos persenting our volunteers, students' Christmas cards and decorations and "the fundraising corner" at the entrance of the school. At the bottom there's a poster announcing the 2016 edition of the charity action "Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej Pomocy" and the certificate confirming the total amount collected by our students.
