6th Grade working with local architecture.

In Arden School we are having FLEXIBLE DAYS. For 8 weeks we are having mathematics in a different and more active way - also a part of it is forest school, where we work out in the nature but also in the village.

We went to Arden Kro which is an old restaurant. It has been empty for many years and we went to measure it up and now we are creating new ideas for this building.

After brainstorming of what the building could be used for, we started making them out of cardboard and we have made them in the right scale.It had to be a building that would be good for the village and could make the village connect and unite. There are many funny ideas as a café and a big candy store. Another idea was a youth club and a kindergarden for animals or a hostel or hotel.
