Pupils in Reception and Year 1 Class (4-6 years old) have been enjoying the traditional story of The 3 Billy Goats Gruff.  We used our cutting skills to make our own troll puppets, which we used to act out the story (we will add a video soon).

To make our class display we painted and cut out  planks for the bridge and used these planks to practice counting and to solve mathmatical problems.

For example 'If there were 10 planks on the bridge and 2 planks broke how many would be left? '

We retold the story using speech bubbles
