Pantomime Performance at the Egg Theatre, Bath, England

  • All of the children in Class 4 at St Julian's performed a pantomime on stage at a famous public children's theatre. As part of our Erasmus project we wanted the children to help write/direct and act in their own play. The children chose a pantomime because it was Christmas time. The play was called ' Happily Never After ' and it bridged all famous fairytales. It had many different characters in it, such as widow Twanky, Cinderella, Buttons, Princess Jasmine, Aladdin, Jack from Jack and the Beanstalk, Cruella Deville, the Evil Stepmother and many, many more. It was great fun to do and every child was an absolute star. Parents, friends, governors and the Vice chairman of Bath and North East Somerset came to see it and thought it was fabulous.
