We had an amazing time on our recent mobility to Greece.  St Julian's and Shoscombe School children and staff travelled to Kalymnos.

The children at the school met us in a wonderful procession.

                                    

Some children were dressed up in traditional Greek costumes. They performed an end of year Feast celebration for us that told us stories from the island of Kalymnos.

 

Our children stayed with host families who were all extremely kind and hospitable and who taught our children an awful lot about Greek life and culture.

                         

 

We all really loved the island and were very interested to learn all about the sponge diving that happens here.We enjoyed going to the beach with our international friends and also exploring the monastary, museums and other places on Kalymnos.

This was a really memorable trip for us all and we are so grateful to all of the Greek families, staff at the Greek school and everyone else who made our visit such a wonderful experience that we will all remember forever. We will miss you beautiful Kalymnos
