Working with The Childrens Convention in Denmark

  • IIn 4th Grade on Arden School we have been working with THE CHILD CONVENTION  - learning about childrens rights to go to school/ privacy and a good childhood.  We have seen a video and read about a girl in Etiopia and a danish migrants has made a song about coming to a new country which se analysed. In the end we read a novel about a girl whose parents did not take care of her and she became the adult in the family. We had good talks about childrens life around the world and locally.

In this project the students made their own PADLET telling about themselves in danish and some made the translations into english. This first padlet is about how the Arden School students compare themselves to children other places in the world.
