Spiritual gardens and International week on Arden School

  • We are having an INTERNATIONAL WEEK in Arden School and all classes and teachers are involved. Our theme is CONNECT & UNITE and we have been working together with a Land Art artist, making the different parts, pupils and departments reach out and connect. We started monday, where we sang our ARDEN SCHOOL SONG. At the end of the week we had a celebration of the art and students could visit each other and see what had developed through out the week.

    All our second graders made outdoor musical instruments together with our artist. They are already used by many children during the brakes.

      

     

    They were also busy making traditional easter letters for FRANCE, writing little poems. In Denmark you send them secretly and write your name with dots, so you have to guess the sender. If you guess it, you get a chocolate egg, if not you have to give one to the sender ;-)

          Here you can hear them learn to sing "Brother John" in french "Frere Jacque" ;-)
