There has been a lot of activity this week in Arden School Garden. We are now going to have bees, so we have prepared the bee house and made the garden area around. We were so lucky to have a guest teacher Theodor, who told us all he knoes about bees. Other children have made incect hotels to put around the garden for all the insects to move into.and now we know what the different insects are good for. A third group have been preparing for planting vegestables and started with the carrots and the history of the carrot. Every day we had a fire, where we made bread and decorated sticks with our knives.

Also the insects will have a place in our garden, so many insect hotels were made and they were 3-4-5 star hotels.....

 

All children at Arden school has planted a bulb - so next spring the garden will bloom with 500 spring flowers.

The first day we made our new fireplace and the children loved to sit by the fire and here we started our outdoor school every day ;-)
