Project children have sailed away from their past and they are about to set foot on the "Me in the Present" land where they will use art in the form of creative writing to describe objects/items they love and music in the form of video clips to express their preferences, the objective being for the pupils to realize how much they share in common with their project partners since all of them are members of a universal village.
You have reached "Me in the Present" land. Tell us some more about you. Then check out your partners' work to find out what you share in common!
"Me in the Present"
Activity A: My Favorite Object
Write a poem about your favourite object.
Address the object as if it were a person. Use the five senses (see, hear, smell, feel, taste) to "approach" the object in a literary way.
The title of your poem should give a hint as to what your poem is about. Try not to reveal everything right from the beginning.
Make use of uppercase letters, punctuation marks such as exclamation marks (!), question marks (?), colons (;), quotation marks (" " for somebody's words, ' ' for a title") to make your text livelier.
Use imagery. In other words, create mental pictures of what the object is to you in terms of seeing it, hearing it, smelling it, feeling it, tasting it.
After creating your poem, type it and format your doc. Use different colors and types of fonts, add page frame, background color, picture or watermark. Upload your doc in the TwinBoard below adding the title and your name.
The poems submitted by all project pupils can be found below on the TwinBoard.
The editing group (see Documentation page) collected the poems and put them together in the collection of poems entitled "Our Favorite Things" which can be found in the TwinSpace page by the same name.

Activity B: My Favorite Song
Scroll down the page and visit the Discussion Forum. Post your favorite English-speaking song. Listen to it, write down the lyrics and type them in the Forum. At the end, upload the video of the song.
Check out your partners' posts and comment on the songs they have uploaded.
