CURRICULUM FORM 7/8

  • Transnational Spiral Curriculum

The long-lasting effects of the project are ensured through the implementation of a transnational interdisciplinary spiral curriculum. This includes traversing the "CliMApp" route, the “energy puzzlehunt” as well as a curriculum for year 7 and for year 9 students, where teachers and students of the partner schools cooperate every November:

    A: In form 7 (or 8)

In year 7 or 8, students from each class are divided into three groups, each of them writing messages to students of one of the partner countries. They write messages and answer messages several times, exchanging personal information about hobbies, families, school and environmental issues. Then each student makes a poster about their partner and presents it to the class.

Example of a poster created by a German student:

    B: In form 9 (or 10) -

for detailed information, see the next "PAGE"

In year 9 (or 10), students start with information on the partner countries and vocabulary work. Then they watch the videos about environmental issues in each partner country, ask questions to the partner school students and answer four of the others’ questions (one from each country) in one-minute-videos. In a last step, all students watch the 16 answer videos.
