2nd Job-shadowing - English and Maths from an interdisciplinary point of view

  • Job-shadowing activity promoted at Colégio Athénée Royal Jules Bara, in Tournai (Belgium) scheduled for the period between the 24th and 28th of January 2022, with the participation of teachers Ilda Oliveira (from the 500 group) and Mónica Ferreira (from the group 220).

    Main objectives of the course:

    - Know new teaching methods of English and Mathematics;

    - Reinforce the interdisciplinary strategies of English and Mathematics with other subjects;

    - Discover new ways of applying work with students in English;

    - Experiencing new teaching-learning environments;

    - Share knowledge and pedagogical strategies;

    - Knowing new cultural realities, in a logic of sharing with teachers from other countries.

    Methodology of the job-shadowing activity

    It is intended that mobility participants can learn more about innovative methods of teaching English and mathematics in classes with students between 10 and 15 years old. During the mobility period, the participants will accompany teachers from the Colegio Athénée Royal Jules Bara in English and Mathematics classes and will experience the pedagogical strategies used by the mentor teachers, in a sharing logic.
