The second mobility of our Erasmus KA1 project started today! Europass Teacher Academy is the Training Center that, from 6 to 11 September, hosts the Erasmus Course called “Life Coaching for Teachers: Happy Teachers for Better Students”. Florence, the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance, became a meeting point for teachers from Germany, Slovakia, Spain, Estonia, Poland, Portugal and Romania. Professor António Oliveira, coordinator of the PAA, is the representative of our Group in this training.
Over the course of six days, we will have the opportunity to get to know ourselves better as education professionals, to reflect on pedagogical practices and to get to know and share educational experiences from different realities / contexts.
Today, after the welcome session, we held “icebreaker” activities and addressed the theme of “Positive Education”, preparing the “ground” for a more rewarding school experience through a way of educating that seeks balance, establishing firm limits and, at the same time, encouraging the child's freedom and autonomy. In this case, the objective is to educate with a focus on affection, understanding, respect and mutual learning. This is always bearing in mind that, in this process, it is more important than the destination you intend to reach, it is the direction you take.
