On this second day of training, after the synthesis of the work developed the previous day was made, through a “morning wrap-up” activity carried out in a group, the trainees were challenged to solve a set of “problems” whose solutions required an approach less logical and deductive, but more creative and “out of the box”.
From the analysis of these activities, concepts related to the development of the creative process were approached, such as "Lateral thinking", and strategies that the teacher can use with their students were explored, always in a perspective of promoting motivation, collaboration and participation of all.
One of the tools explored in this second day of work was “The six thinking hats”, a method used to develop creative thinking in a collaborative and coordinated way. Using six “hats” of different colors, it is possible to analyze a situation from six different points of view, which will make decision-making much easier.
The afternoon was dedicated to discovering some of the most emblematic points of the magnificent city of Bologna and the day ended in a typical Italian restaurant, with one of the typical Italian dishes, “la pizza”.
Note: the afternoon activities were developed together with another group of teachers who are also undergoing training in Bologna, but on a different theme.
