let's start our collaborative writing!

 

Here is the first task:

Our story starts at two different places: in Portogruaro and Wilhelmshaven.

In each town lives one of our two heroes (a hero and a heroine?). They don't know of each other (until now...).

But for both persons, our story starts with a strange thing: either with a dream or with a letter (each partner school can choose which alternative they prefer). The persons tells about this dream or about this strange letter. He / She tells about three pictures of places and things which our protagonist saw never before, but which he / she sees in the dream or as photographs in the letter. - The pictures show: a place, a thing, a god or magic creature. While our hero / heroine tells his / her story, the reader learns: a) about the name, age and home town of the narrator  b) about his / her family and character  c) about strange events which happened to our narrator.

Preparation:

The pictures must show:

       1.  a place in your town (e.g. a park, the door to your classroom, a window of the town hall, a bridge, ...)

       2. an object (you choose what kind of object...)

       3. a statue or symbol of a god or magic creature that can be seen somewhere in your town (e.g. the car of a parcel service called "Hermes";  

           the head of a god or hero at an ancient building; ...).

Let's see which pictures you send to your partners  - and how you will integrate the pictures of your partners into your chapter.
