The day started with a visit of the German school. The Otfried-Preußler-Mittelschule in Stephanskirchen is made up of Primary School and Secondary School. The Secondary School is from the 5th grade to the 10th grade. The school has a warm atmosphere thanks to the welcoming decorations and the many pieces of art designed by the teachers and the students themselves.
We met the Headmaster, Mr Florian Burggraf, who welcomed us in the Erasmus classroom; we also attended a special welcome ceremony by the Primary School pupils, who sang traditional songs for us. They were very kind and sweet.
For breakfast, the school prepared us traditional Bavarian dishes: there were three different jams, some local cheese, yoghurt, a selection of cold meats, some spicy sauces, typical cakes, fruitjuice, a variety of bread and, of course, "weisswurst", the traditional white sausages. Everything was delicious!!
After breakfast, we went to visit Rosenheim. Some German students gave us a very detailed guided tour of the town in English. Well done students, and thanks to Ms Michaela Hoff who prepared them.
The tour ended with the visit to the exhibition of marine dinosaurs at the Rosenheim Museum. It was amazing, our students were really interested and curious about these creatures, vividly portrayed by the museum guide.
