Families, students and teachers met at the station in Ferrara in the morning: we were all excited about our stay in Germany. After parents' recommendations and advice, warm bye-byes and some tear drops, we all went to the platform. The parents helped us to put all suitcases into the train, but we were a bit worried about the change we had to do in Bologna. Fortunately, some super-mums came with us on the train ride to Bologna and, once arrived, they helped us again. Thank you so much.
The train from Bologna to Rosenheim had two six-passenger compartments and one single seat next door so the students split into the two compartments and, after some time, they moved the seats in the compartment to make a big, spacious, single one and enjoyed their ride, which went fine. Everything went well, the only problem we had was finding the right place for all our big, heavy suitcases, and keep them still during the train ride..…
At the arrival at the Rosenheim station, at 17.42, the German families were already on the platform. They welcomed us warmly and helped with our luggage. Some of them had their traditional clothes, they were very nice. There was also one of Ms Landendiger’s students who played us some Bavarian music.
After that, all families took the students to their homes. And finally, Ms Ludsteck took the Italian teachers, Ms Rizzo and Ms Crivellaro, to their hotel.
