The content of this mobility is inspired by our national curriculums as far as teaching environment issues and literacy is concerned. To be responsible citizens our schools programs all contain awareness about how our ecosystem works, the challenges and issues we are facing today and the needs to adopt responsible behavior to protect our environment. As the main line of our mobilities is to have our students perform plays they will have written before, this mobility will be their first stage. Students who will join this meeting will have be chosen among those volunteering to join and showing great motivation for the tackled them ( environment activities). To ensure their motivation we will ask them to write or present what drives them to join the meeting.
During the meeting they will thus:
-give a more concrete turn to their research about their partners, develop their European culture by writing and illustrating together a common interactive presentation including local documents on their host partners' culture after visiting and exploring the country, using an innovative tool such as Canva or Genial.ly. The presentation will include everyday activities to upload on twinspace and other websites in order to disseminate.Students will help create the movie about the week to be part of our dissemination plan.
-learn about their host partners' town ecofriendly actions and visit the associations the host have worked with .
- A workshop managed about an ecofriendly action (eg: trash picking, recycling material..) will be offered to them to go further and allow students to prepare a concrete action and see how a simple citizen can one day choose to take so much responsibility.
-Classes visits will be organized for both students and teachers to see how ecofriendliness is taught. Students will attend host classes.
-Traveling teachers will be invited to a jobshadowing experience and teach local students a lesson on environmental issues.-prepare an awareness play. They will rehearse their scenes and perform them during the dedicated day. The school community, other local partners will be invited to visit the school that day to see the work done.
-Students and teachers will be evaluated at the end of the activity and we will compare the progress to assess the impact of the activities.
