Friendship Workshop - Year 5 

November 5th 2019 

This morning, Year 5 took part in a friendship workshop with Rachel from One Day. The children took part in team games where tehy had to communicate without speaking. 

They then sat in pairs with someone who they have never worked with before. The children had 2 minutes to find out 3 things they have in common with each other and 3 differences. After this, they created a drama scene about differences. 

Next, everyone sat in a circle and had a chat about friendship week, where they had to listen to everyone's thoughts and opinions. 

Rachel then gave the children a number of friendship statements where they had to decide if they agree or disagree with the statement. 

After this, Rachel asked the question 'Why do bullies bully?'. The children then created a freeze frame and an advert of a bullying incident taking place.
