Wednesday was a big day, full of learning and emotions. All children and teachers at CEIP Juan del Río Ayala, together with our European partners, had the chance of meeting Heriberto Cruz and his band at our local Theatre in Santa Brígida and exchange samples of the work done inspired by Antonio Padrón´s paintings and Canciones al óleo by Heriberto Cruz. 

Our local Major opened the event welcoming our visitors and congratulating us for the projet success.

Fatima Duerden and our project coordinator, Cecilia, made a breaf introduction in Spanish and English, our project work language, they were on stage helping with communication.

Then Heriberto started with his songs inspired by Antonio Padrón´s paintings:

Greek teacher and lithuanian pupils join Heriberto Cruz on the stage with the favourite song in all partner schools:

Greek pupils from 2º Pre-primary School in Ierapetra were also present through a video where they sing Heriberto Cruz´s song Niña de las mariposas in Spanish.

Poems inspired by Antonio Padrón´s paintings, were read in the different languages of the project by pupils and teachers from partner schools.
