The Southern Helsinki Adult Education Centre offers a variety of learning opportunities mainly for adult learners in the Helsinki area. Annually we have appr. 2000 students who attend courses on topics ranging from beekeeping to music to foreign languages.
We teach the following foreign languages: Swedish, Estonian, Russian, Spanish, Italian, French, English, Latin, Arabic and Finnish for foreigners.
The Centre is operated by The Finnish Lifelong Learning Foundation (Kvs Foundation/Säätiö) which is a politically and religiously non-affiliated organisation established in 1874. It is an independent think tank on everyday learning. Our core expertise is in the fields of learning, innovations and communication.
