  • Memories of the Meeting in Denmark

Laura S. Maria, teacher from Portugal

This meeting in Denmark was really important for the evolution of our project. It had been postponed for 7 months because of the pandemic and teachers and student had been working on project activities without knowing when they could meet in person. It was a very expected meeting as all had been anxiously waiting for it. Unfortunately Serbian and French partners couldn't be present, but still, their virtual participation was great. It was amazing to observe how all student were involved in project activities as well as the strong ties of friendship that were deepened along the days. It was for sure an unforgettable meeting. Thanks to all teachers and students who made it possible.

    Memories in Denmark...
i will forget this week NEVER, I loved meeting new people, 3 cities in Denmark and learn some words in differents languages.
Thanks for the best week in my life!

    Filipa Manso from Portugal

In my opinion, the most important thing that I gained with this experience was the new international friendships and the memories that I've gained with them. I will miss them very much and and I hope that one day we could meet again. I liked a lot the food, the landscapes, the people, how different the Danish population is comparing to our country. Thank you for every moment <3

    Gonçalo Calado, Portugal

I really liked this experience in Denmark. I saw, and tasted, and felt all kinds of stuff I never thought I would.
I also realized how different the culture in Denmark is compared to Portugal. They´re much cleaner and organized than us.
I really liked the people I met during the trip, and hope we can meet again someday, maybe in Portugal.

    See you guys ;)

Diogo Loureiro, student from Portugal :)

This meeting in Denmark was awesome, it was fun to see how a school in Denmark works and how a normal day can be in. Personally the best spot we visited was the Youth House, Walker. Also it was fun to taste some of their typical danish food and Faxe Kondi! But I think the best part of this trip was meeting everyone and the memories I made overall I hope to visit Denmark again and maybe meet some people again! And also the Polish :) So thank you to all the teachers for this opportunity and thank you to the students too! Danmark var fedt. Tak :-)

    Marta Pedro, from Portugal

The meeting in Denmark was definitely something I won't forget!
The environment, our new friends, all the amazing places we visited, was everything amazing, if I could I would come back just right now.
    Thank you for everything!

    Renata Ochniowska, teacher from Poland

The meeting in Denmark appeared to be a great experience especially for students. It was really great to see how they interacted to each other and were engaged in the activities which, by the way, were prepared perfectly (Denmark respect!). I'm sorry for France and Serbia but hopefully the next mobilities we'll meet together in real. Thank all of you for this fantastic week.

    Lara Reis, student from Portugal

This week in Middelfart was one of the best weeks of my life. Meeting new people was very awesome and this trip was so amazing and a really great experience! Denmark is a beautiful country and I hope we can meet again one day! It was an experience that I will never forget :) Thank you for everything during this week.

    Martyna Mandziuk, student from Poland

Visiting Denmark and meeting all these people was a fabulous experience. Being there, tasting Danish and Portuguese food or having the opportunity to see all these beautiful places in Denmark made this week one of the best weeks of my life. I'm glad that I was able to meet so many wonderful people who helped me to learn not only about Danish but also Portuguese culture. I could see how our countries are different, what the school system is like in Denmark or how they spend their time after school. Thank you all for the great memories, I hope to see you again.

    Amelia Tryndoch from Poland

A visit to Denmark will remain in my memory for a long time. I'm glad I had the opportunity to meet all the people in real life, not just on the internet. I learned a lot about Danish and Portuguese culture, I got to know many words in these languages, I tried traditional dishes and food (which were delicious!).I saw a lot of differences in education, religions, tolerance, building, and architecture between countries . Denmark is one of the most beautiful countries I have ever seen.I already miss all the people I've met, but I hope to see you soon !

    Rasmus, danish student

The DemEUcracy project was a great event! It was very exciting and funny, to meet new people and learn about their different cultures and ways of living. In general, the project was instructive and interesting. It was especially nice when we visited Copenhagen. The whole day was a success and a great way to talk more privately with the foreign students. They were all very sweet and easy to talk to. Beside from all the school related stuff we did I also enjoyed the free sandwiches we got.
It was also a nice that we did a different assignment like drawing croquis and the mascots. Even though I’m a terrible painter, it was still a nice experience.

A bonus fact was that we learned to say “cheers” in many different languages;)
