One of the main outputs of our project were the surveys each of our schools did about further education and/or job opportunities in the towns/areas where the schools are located.
Each school worked autonomously, concentrating on different aspects, which depended on various factors (school vocation, job/university opportunities in the region, etc.)
The surveys were done using Prezi (except one), which is one of the apps the students studied in their workshops. All the surveys were presented during the final conference in Rome.
SPAIN (MANRESA)
Our survey is divided into four major sections.
First of all, the students have looked for alternatives onve they finish the last course od compulsory education. We separated their option in the two possible cases; when they pass their final exams or the alternatives they have if they do not.
Once they have graduated, they can choose to study either the baccalaureate or vocational courses.
Secondly, the students looked for what types of baccalaureate and vocational courses are done in our city, Manresa. We have separated those studies into those that are done in our school, and those that are done in other schools in the city.
Third, the students have looked for information on the university studies that they offer in the different universities of the city.
Finally, they have sought information on what sectors and sepcifically, what jobs are most in demand not only in our city, but also in the region. In this way, the students have a global vision of the jobs that are most in demand and if the studies that are offered in our city may or may not meet their needs.

ITALY (ROMA)
The Italian students interviewed 500 university students of many different universities in Rome asking them to evaluate their choices and to express their opinions about their future. The idea to concentrate on university rather than job opportunities depended on the fact that Liceo Peano is a kind of school where almost all students choose a university career after finishing school.

GREECE (VOLOS)
The Greek students worked on two different directions: they interviewed both university students in Thessaly University and local entrepreuneurs. In this way they came up with two different survey results and decided to present both.
JOB OPPORTUNITIES
UNIVERSITY AND JOB OPPORTUNITIES
FINLAND (UTAJARVI)
The Finnish students studied the different opportunities they have after they have graduated from upper secondary school.
Utajärvi is such a small place and there aren’t many studying opportunities after graduating, which means that majority of our students head to Oulu or to some other city that has a university or a university of applied sciences. So our survey mainly focuses on the studying opportunities the University of Oulu and the Oulu University of applied sciences have to offer.
