    Field trip to Prague:

Friday saw the Erasmus group visiting Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. The students and their teachers started the tour in the centre of Prague near Prašná brána. A couple of Czech students said a few historical facts connected with the sight and then everybody continued to the Old Town Square with its Astronomical Clock, where they had an hour free to look around and explore narrow lanes around the square or visit a cafe. All had a photo together and then headed for the Charles Bridge. At the bridge there is a museum about the history and construction of the bridge where they learned a lot of interesting facts. An unusal part of the tour was a boat ride on the river Vltava with an English guide telling the passangers about buildings on the river banks. After crossing the bridge the tour continued up Nerudova street to the Prague castle, where the tour guided by students finished and each team chose  their further programme individually. The sunny and warm weather made this excusion an unforgettable experience and a perfect end of the visit.
