The University of Oulu was founded in 1958 and nowadays it has 13 000 students and almost 3000 employees. It is also one of the biggest and the most multidisciplinary universities in Finland. During the visit to the University of Oulu, Sanna Heikkinen gave a presentation on the different studying opportunities the university has to offer, and the students (as well as the teachers) got to go on a tour around the university, guided by the students who study at the university. After lunch we had Teea Oja’s workshop on career counselling. (You can find the slide show as an attachment.)
