Geopark workshop in Rokua

Rokua Geopark is the only travelling are in Finland that has a status as a UNESCO Global Geopark. Each Geopark has their own theme, in Rokua the theme is ice age. Employees working at Suppa introduced the Geopark area in Rokua. They gave a presentation on what kinds of jobs the area has to offer, and told us briefly what their occupation at Suppa were. After the presentation  the students took part in different outdoor activities/workshops: a quiz about the area, snowshoeing, studying the depth and texture of snow, preparing sausages and grilling marshmallows in a hut.
