ZŠ Přimda is responsible for History, Manual training, Languages and literature, so the Learning activity in Přimda was focused on these subjects. Pupils were divided in 8 international teams and participated in many activities:
Manual training: Pupils participated in many workshops at school - they worked with plywood, metal, decorated glass, created soap,...
History: Participants of the meeting visited the History Park in Bärnau where they learnt about the Middle ages and Slavs and they also did some "mediaeval" activities (baking bread, archery, mediaeval game Kubb). They visited the Museum of church art in Pilsen and the Museum of Region Chodsko in Domažlice.
Languages and literature: Pupils did some tasks with proverbs and they also tried to read words written in Cyrillic alphabet.
They also did some sport activities: climbing on the climbing wall in Pilsen, playing old children's games ("beat the starling",...) and non-traditional games (ringo, spikeball, frisbee,...).
We also participated in the international diving festival PAF that took place in Přimda - we watched some films about the undersea world and voted for the best submarine photo made by divers from the whole world. The participants of the learning activity were pupils and teachers of our four schools that participate in the project and also some members of the local community - the mayor of Přimda, the vice-mayor and the chronicler of Přimda.
Manual training, History, languages and literature are taught in all of our schools and we have learnt new activities that can be used in these subjects. The communication language of the learning activity was English, so we used the CLIL method to learn these content subjects. In this learning activity, also three refugee girls from Ukraine took part - it was their first opinion with an international project and they learnt a lot and became members of the Erasmus+ community. We also used our native languages, so there were 6 languages spoken in this learning activity. We took many photos and recorded some videos that we want to use for creating the tutorials for teaching Manual training, History and Languages and literature in English (CLIL method).
Pupils who participated in the learning activity have created presentations and videos about the activities that they learnt in Přimda and they will share their new experiences with their schoolmates. The Slovak students also wrote their diaries for each day of the Learning activity and evaluations.
