Hi,
Cláudio: This morning as I was arriving at school I saw litter by the school bustop, if we walk around the school, we can still find litter onthe lawn, on the paths in the corridors... I can't understand why this is still happening. There are bins everywhere. Why are the students not using them?
Jelena:There is litter on the classroom floors after lessons although it shouldn't happen.
-I cannot understand how somebody can throw it so easily on the floor when there is a basket nearby.
Ariana: I think we must organize a serious campaign to call everyone's attention for this persisting problem. Maybe we could also organize "No Litter" teams. Each month a different team could walk around the school and speak with their colleagues about keeping the school clean.
Letícia: That'a great idea, Ariana. I agree with your last suggestion. We could also write on colourful strips of cardboard sentences and stick them in strategic and more critical places. These are my suggestions:
- hang on to litter until you find a garbage receptacle;
- Report litterbugs;
- Make sure your trash cans have tight-fitting lids,
- Share with others the proper way to dispose of trash;
- Participate in a clean-up day campaign;
- Educate your peers
Fátima:What good ideas leticia. I think that with all your contributions we can help the French school with its littering problem.
