Hi,

Marieta:All food scraps should be put in compostable container.Composting is a natural process of breaking down organic material such as vegetable scraps and green waste into a rich soil that gardeners fondly nickname black gold.

Marieta:Organic waste shouldn't finish on landfild cos by composting you can reduce your impact on the planet.

-Did you know that rotting food produces methane which is 25 times more potent than CO2?

-Only now I understand why we must sort organic waste.

-There is still hope if we act fast.

Alejandro:You're right Marieta. We can use this composting to fertilize the garden of the Antalya school in a more natural way.
First we must look for some composter to go throwing the waste.

IZA: You can build your compost pile on the ground or find a container that is easy to manage as you will have to mix the materials inside it. 

POLY: We built ours in a DIY way. We used a heavy-duty garbage can. Then we drilled some holes for aeration and it was ready to be filled with the mixture o high carbon and high nitrogen materials.
