We tested 7 varieties of beans (coco, azuki, tarbais, broad beans, pinto, black eyed peas, Black Coco) in the experimental garden and 4 in pots during the summer 2016.
Coco beans are the quickest, with dry pods in less than 90 days.
Azuki have a quick growing in pots
Pinto are interesting for their pink color
The 4 varieties sown in the school garden suffered a lot because of automatic watering problems
The beans sown in the clayey soil had a better resistance to the drought than in the compost soil
