Mr Bean, Mrs Lentil and their tiny peas celebrating the International Year of Pulses 2016

Mr Bean, Mrs Lentil and their tiny peas celebrating the International Year of Pulses 2016 project aims to heighten students awareness of the nutritional benefits of pulses as part of sustainable food production through various activities

Project Journal

  • An activity for the projects we implement at school. After dealing with the nutritional value of pulses, we decided: what we've learned to share with others. Who? How?
    With our parents calling them for lunch in our classroom. We made invitations, cooked lentils, prepared the class and the result on the screen.
    An activity for the projects we implement at school. After dealing with the nutritional value of legumes, we decided: what we learned to share with others. Who? How;
    With our parents calling us for lunch in our classroom. We made invitations, cooked lentils, prepared the order and the result on the screen.
    Through this action we learn language-written menus and invitations, ...-, mathematics-we measured quantities, we matched the preparation of tables, ...-, ICT-we searched recipes on the internet, we wrote the invitations, ...- , We interacted with the environment, created, painted and made a poem about pulses and invested it with music, we practiced in delicate mobility by cleaning the lentils and cutting the materials, .... An action fully integrated into the curriculum.
    And of course we have achieved the best results of the disseminetion of project results.
    It was the best lunch we've ever had!

  • Dear family,
    we have started ebook -issuu- for proverbs and finalizing it during weekend
    so, this is last call for proverbs activity.

    Please remember that we do not have to post our country's proverb only but also to translate the proverbs posted by partners from their language to our native language-word-by word translation from English.

    IF there is an analogy in our language then we post that also and ...Drawings are welcome, too
    Thank you!
