Bucharest Virtual Mobility - Happi:nation!
(11-15 October 2021)
The project team from "Grigore Moisil" National College was pleased to be the host of the first virtual mobility of the Erasmus + Project "Destination: Happiness!", held from 11 to 15 October 2021. Students and teachers from four partner countries, Lithuania, Greece, the Czech Republic and Poland, actively participated in the online activities and workshops organized by the Romanian team.
The event began with an opening ceremony, ensued by presentations delivered by the participating teams. On this first meeting we had the opportunity to find out more about the countries, cities and schools of our partners. A first workshop with integration games followed, which allowed the students to socialize, to get to know each other and to have fun together.
The second day was about art and happiness. The participating students, starting from the movie The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, reflected on the different facets of happiness, on the various experiences that can make us happy and, last but not least, on the role of art in creating well-being.
The third day commenced with a Hygge workshop, which revealed to us the Danish recipe for happiness. At the end of the workshop, the participants had the chance to experience this new approach to happiness and well-being by creating their own Hygge corner and sharing it with the others. The second workshop of the day invited students to introspection, creativity, and self-care. Students wrote beautiful letters to their future selves.
In the last two days of the virtual mobility, students participated in an interactive course on creating a reportage and learnt about mindfulness. At the end of the workshops, each team showcased a reportage on well-being in their schools.
All in all, we gained valuable experience in this first multicultural meeting and we are glad to have had the opportunity to be together. We are looking forward to the next mobilities and the chance to strengthen the newly formed ties.
