Main objectives of the course:
- Understand the theoretical framework of education for special educational needs;
- Understand how social, artistic and gaming activities can improve the development of support factors;
- Identify risks, factors and barriers to integration and inclusion;
- Develop communication, collaboration, presentation, problem solving, negotiation, criticism and creative thinking skills;
- Engage with learner-centered approaches in special needs education contexts such as task-based learning and problem-based learning within a fictional context of procedural drama;
- Improve understanding of potential simulations and role playing for integration, inclusion and learning in special needs education;
- Provide and exercise creative ideas and practical resources for the successful implementation of creative methods in education for special educational needs in different contexts;
- Improve fluency in English;
- Promote intercultural awareness;
- Sharing special needs education experiences from different organizations to help each of us be more effective in our work;
- Develop the online collaboration platform for preparation, dissemination, and networking to develop future partnerships and projects;
- Strengthen European collaboration between people involved in special needs education and practice creative methods in different contexts;
- Make contact with different educational systems.
