This activity’s aim was to integrate students of all the classes at school and allow them to participate in sports activities which wouldn’have a competitive character. The students with their teachers organised two different sports activities. The first was a competition in several sports and the teams were formed by the students themselves. In this activity our school invited the high achool junior with which we ahare the school premises and our students formed teams of various ages. They helped the younger ones form teams and tgey explained the rules and the procedure.
The other activity was a combination of sports, fun and maths. The students had to run inside a woolen sack and when they reached the end, they had to solve a mathematical equation. In the meantime, all students were there to encourage and applaud and students who played a musical instrument were playing music.
The activities were very successful. All students and teachers enjoywd themselves and spent a day outside participating and enjoying each others’company. We distributed a short survey after a few days and 100/00 of the students shared the same happy feeling about this initiative and all hoped that our school could organise something similar every year. They all felt like a part of a big group where everyone can contribute. .
This activity was held in November and in March.
