Travelling in Europe

  • Before leaving your country:

    ​Read information on Travel - Your Europe in English (EN), French (FR), Polish (PL) or Spanish (ES) without forgetting to download the following apps Your Passenger Rights, Going abroad and The European Health Insurance Card

     

    Read the Travel in Europe leaflet in English (EN), French (FR), Polish (PL) or Spanish (ES).  

     

    Bring an ID photo with you in case you need it for travel passes, such as the Navigo travel pass in France. 

     

    Check the weather forecast

     

    Make a personal checklist of the travel documents, clothes, toiletries, special equipment, medecine... you need.

     

     

    During your travel:

     

    • Always keep your ID papers with you !
    • Be careful with pickpockets !
    • Don't forget to take pictures or make movies !

    Are you a student with a disability or reduced mobility?

     

    If you have reduced mobility, you have certain guaranteed rights such as the right to assistance services, free of charge, when travelling by air, train, bus/coach or ship. Did you know that if you have a disability that means you have reduced mobility you may be entitled to an EU parking card?

    On any EU website you can change the language interface to access it into another EU official language.
