Inclusive Regional Guides for Youth
Jingle made in transnational teams and coordinated by the Spanish teachers during the first blended mobility in San Sebastian de los Reyes, Spain
The project of creating Inclusive Regional Guides for Youth (IRGY) of the local areas of the schools involved aims at building international partnership, citizenship, improving the pupils' skills in Foreign Languages, communication and digital skills as well as revising national stereotypes and prejudices. The pupils will create guides of their local areas in international groups during online collaboration and blended mobilities. They will present their landmarks, places of cultural heritage and entertainment as well as different aspects of local lifestyles and school life without forgetting the special facilities available for certain types of disabilities.
As the three participating schools are used to working on eTwinning together for three years now, they will use this Erasmus+ platform for the whole online and international collaboration and team work. Three other external tools will be used for publishing the videos (YouTube), audio recordings (SoundCloud) and treasure hunts (Actionbound). English, French, Spanish and Polish languages will be used either for communicating or subtitling in order to enable any end-user to understand the guides.
About twenty pupils will take part in the project from each school. They will be 14 to 19 years old and be able to communicate in at least English at an intermediate level. The project will benefit the pupils, teachers and schools as well as local communities and the European community in general.
