  • M.3. PROJECT MEETING AND WORKSHOP IN FRANCE

    From 12th to 18th April 2015, the third project meeting and international workshop were held in Le Taillan-Medoc, France.

    During this meeting:

    * Multinational groups of students learnt how to decode e-numbers and food additives, with the help of a female nutritionist in the French school canteen.  She taugh students how to conduct this practical investigation to present a proposal for an ideal menu connected to the topic on women stereotypes proposed by mass media. Multinational groups of students made a set of healthy menus they have produced.

    * Students presented the results of the survey “Young Women - Reality in figures” connected to European Policies and 2020 strategy. Together, they made an international report on the outcomes.

    * All students together learnt how to fill in sample Europass documents (CV, language passport, skills and abilities passport), with the help of staff from French National Agency. 

    * The French students  read aloud the third chapter of the e-novel: LOOKING FOR THE HAPPINESS FORMULA, for the project activity: Young Writers on the Road.

    * Teacher had organizational meetings to speak about next project activities, interim reports, and results from first year project. 

    * The Frech school, Lycee Sud Medoc, presented their best experiences to the rest of teachers, to contribute to our Manual of Good Practices.

    * An “European event” was organized in the Frech school on Tuesday 14th April by using the strength and power of the European Value that visitors added to the school community. Students, teachers, administration staff, headmaster, relevant people from local authorities, the Town Hall, the National Agency and members of other schools, were invited to this event where results and experiences were shown.
