  • M.2. PROJECT MEETING AND WORKSHOP IN FINLAND

    From 9th to 15h February, the second project meeting and internaional workshop was help in Kuopio, Finland, at Kuopion Klasillinen Lukio:

    During that meeting:

    * Multinational groups of students learnt how to conduct an interview in English. They prepared questions to interview some members of Minna Canth organisation (Minna Canth work addresses issues of women's rights, particularly in the context of a prevailing culture she considered antithetical to permitting expression and realization of women's aspirations). This interview was recorded and it is possible to watch it through this link:

    * Students learnt how to use tools as timerime and dipity to create a digital European Time Axis of Equality of civil rights by using national time axis. They also worked in national teams to make a time axis in paper.

    * Students created an international quiz on women women rights in European history, based on the information from the European time axis. They learnt how to create a quiz by using tools as Kahoot.

    * An international panel discussion was held with students talking about the "Glass ceiling".

    * Students explained the conclusions of research chemistry of love at national level.  Scientific experiments connect to the research chemistry of love were tought in the Finnish school and their facilities in the biology and chemistry laboratory.

    * Second chapter of the e-novel: Loking for happiness formula, was read out by Emmi Pelkonen.

    * Teacher from Finland presented their good practise in Kuopion Klassillinen Lukio. Interesting debate was held among teachers about new digitalization Project of matriculation examination in Finland, from paper format to electronic exam, E-books as a good practise in teaching and new tools for teachers: symbaloo, onenote, quizlet,...

    * Our project was presented and disseminated to the whole community at Klassikka during one of the most important events in this school: the prom of second year students. Parents, teachers, students and teachers from neibourgh schools were active receivers of the good results from our project.
