Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Great Britain, the USA - these are just a few examples of countries where famous WWI poets came from. The goal of this competition is to dig deep into literary history in order to show that - while national perspectives might have differed on a political scale - the war experiences expressed in literary texts by soldiers and their families and friends at the home front were pretty much universal. It goes without saying that your text corpus will be very useful for creative writing during the Erasmus Week in Denmark.
How long does this competition run?
Answer: May - June 2016
Where can I find the different competition tasks?
In Section 2.3.
And what is the prize?
The students who collect the most poems from different countries will get a sweet surprise when we meet in Ikast - and will maybe be crowned with a laurel wreath. ;-)
