Students from Santiago de Compostela and Bad Nenndorf worked on speeches on climate change. As a first step they took a closer look at Greta Thunberg's speech delieverd at this year's UN summit which they analysed on different levels. In addition German learners also compared her rhetoric to Barack Obama's speech given five years prior. Then they wrote their own speeches in which they explained the urgent need for action and outlined numerous measures which need to be taken immediately.
