In their Arts lessons in Year 10 students at Gymnasium Bad Nenndorf studied utopian architecture and designed garden houses. While the focus lay on creating a place where people could relax, students also had to keep in mind numerous other aspects. They had to think about who could use their buildings, yet they were also tasked with factoring in current developments such as population growth, climate change and land consumption before building their models which had to be true to scale.
