MUSLIM AND JEWISH HERITAGE IN SPAIN

  • MUSLIM AND JEWISH HERITAGE IN SPAIN, History, 9th grade.

    ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

The activity consists of investigating the contribution of Jews and Muslims to the culture of the Iberian Peninsula in the Middle Ages.

Our students will choose to study a medieval city (where Jews, Muslims and Christians lived together, with more or less problems) or biography about Muslim and Jews personalities (who made a great contribution to the politics, economics and culture in the Iberian Peninsula)..

    METODOLOGY

The activity has several phases. In the first phase, the teacher presents to the students different topics and they must begin to look for information about it.

Once they have been informed about the topics in general terms, students should choose their topic and decide what aspects to focus on.

Students have two class sessions to conduct their research.

Finally, the results of the research will be reflected in an Ppoint presentation which will explain their mates.
